About Me

I Used to Be Easygoing, but Now I’d Rather Be Selective

I’m Fenny, nice to meet you!

Ever since I was a child, I have been an overthinker.

In school, I avoided getting up to use the bathroom because I was too insecure about how I might look walking by everyone. At parties, I’d skip eating and drinking—just in case someone thought I was “pigging out” or if I accidentally spilled something.
I was constantly second-guessing myself and worked hard to keep others happy with me. It wasn’t until my twenties that I realized I was sinking into a deep loneliness, feeling like no one truly understood what I was going through.

Overwhelmed and depressed, I knew something had to change.

By starting Therapy I was able to understand my neurodivergence and manage my anxiety properly.  I learned to see things as quirks rather than as my limitations.

My perspective is valid, and I don’t have to live by anyone else’s ‘measuring stick.’

This newfound self-awareness gave me the courage to pursue my dream of becoming a psychotherapist, even though I had originally completed medical school to please my traditional Indian parents.
I know how isolating it can feel when no one seems to understand, and that’s why I want to help others see that their feelings do matter and that you are safe to let down your guard with me.
My goal is to guide you in finding your own voice, setting boundaries, and learning that your well-being isn’t just important—it’s everything.
